As the water continues to warm, so does the fish activity. There is more baitfish around, a few more species are available and the fishing action becomes more consistent. At this time of year, bluefish, weakfish and fluke will migrate into our water making for more variety in catches.
This is the best time of the year for getting the larger tide runner weakfish as they come to our waters to spawn. It is also at this time that the larger migrating stripers start feeding as they begin their northern migration for the summer. As always, schoolie resident stripers are around to provide plenty of action.
